Inspired by Robert Schumann’s Violin Sonata No. 3, WoO 2: III. Intermezzo

Chapter Five: This is Suleimān’s lament, given the turmoil at home and the dreams he thought would never come true. At the sonata’s conclusion, Suleimān caught the siren’s wail as a burst of red light flashed across Mr. Demmings’ piano. Suleimān gently set Christoph along the curve of his side, then dashed into the street, bow in hand. He ran home to find his father being carried to the hospital.
